Desert Botanical Garden and Sugar Bowl

Yesterday we went to the Desert Botanical Garden as a family. My Visiting Teacher game me tickets that had to be used by today, so we thought we'd get outside and enjoy the day. We brought the stroller, but don't restrict Stella to it until she continues to run away from us. Elliot had to chase her through a whole pack of people (the girl is quick!).



We stopped at The Sugar Bowl for some ice cream (the place was packed) and we were entertained by a crazy cowboy on a horse playing a guitar and singing outside. Stella was fascinated with the horse, but was leery of touching it when we went outside. The cowboy demonstrated that horses have the right of way in all traffic as he rode the horse out in to the busy Scottsdale street.
