Sometimes it's hard for me to come up with interesting Family Home Evening ideas. This, however, is not the case for Elliot! Last week because of my lack of preparation, he came up with this impromptu FHE and game. It was about Samuel the Lamanite and how sometimes it's hard to bear our testimony, but WE CAN DO HARD THINGS!
So I got to stand on the couch and read the account from the scriptures while Stella and Elliot threw stuff at me, just like Samuel the Lamanite . . . only they were balls, not arrows or rocks. It was so fun that we had to switch places!

How in the world did you manage to get that last picture?
That is a great idea for FHE. I can just imagine trying to read a scripture while objects are being thrown at my head. Ha!
Totally stealing that idea for tomorrow night! My kiddos will love it.
