Easter

Oh Easter. We have a sneaky Easter Bunny. Is the Easter Bunny a boy or a girl? Stella and my friend Laurie were having this discussion at church (I think we've settled that it's a boy).

After church on Easter Sunday, Malcolm went down for a nap and Stella was getting ready for quiet time. I was preparing the loot for the Easter Bunny to hide for the kids. However, Little Miss Sneaky Pants opened a closed door and saw what the Easter Bunny was supposed to hide and lied about it. I may have over-reacted and told her that Easter was cancelled.

Well, the Easter Bunny wouldn't have any of that. Somehow right after Daddy came home from church, all of our Easter eggs were hidden in the front yard. She had been checking the back yard all afternoon with no sign of said E. Bunny, so she was so happy when Daddy announced that he saw some pastel eggs around the front yard when he went to make a phone call. That sneaky bunny.

There must have been a bee.

She darted from corner to corner of the yard gathering the eggs. Malcolm was so happy to get one that had M&M's in it that he could shake.

After going through nearly every egg and devouring it's contents, Stella found an egg that had a note in it from E. Bunny that sent her on a treasure hunt for an Easter gift for her and for Malcolm. That sneaky E. Bunny must have gone in the unlocked back door to hide them while Stella was hunting in the front yard.

Good news though is that even though he's no poet, at least the E. Bunny has learned to rhyme since I was kid.

Sneaky Easter Bunny.
